SDVFDRS Awarded Grant DECEMBER 19 - Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (D-MD) announced that the Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad in Valley Lee, MD, has been awarded $55,100 in federal grant funds through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program. Point Lookout Road MVA NOVEMBER 16 - At 0744, your Second District Volunteers and ambulance 398 were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Point Lookout Road in front of Little Flower School. Safety 9, Anthony Thomas, was already on the scene and reported two vehicles and two patients. Motor vehicle accident on Flat Iron Road SEPTEMBER 28 - At 0801 this morning your Second District Volunteers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Flat Iron Road and and Highway to Heaven Lane.
