| Members and families from the Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad took part in and observed the SMVFA 59th Annual Parade and Games on Sunday, April 26 in Solomons. The event was hosted by the Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department.
Fire and rescue vehicles from across the tri-county area participated in the parade. During the awards ceremony, the Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad received honors for 1st Best Appearing Rescue Boat and 2nd Best Appearing Rescue Engine.
Although the weather was cooler than expected, participants and spectators enjoyed the parade and games and had a fun-filled day! |
