On 3/6/2023 at 4:41 PM, The Second District VFD&RS and mutual aid units were alerted for a motor vehicle accident, car vs motorcycle in the vicinity of 19346 Piney Point Rd., Valley Lee.
Squad 6 (Hayden) arrived on the scene, and began patient care for the motorcycle operator. Chief 6A (Stroud) established the Piney Point Road Command.
Ambulance 196 (Leonardtown VRS) and Paramedic Ambulance 138 (NAS Patuxent River Fire & Emergency Services) arrived and assumed care of the patient.
Engine 61 (Dent) covered the landing zone for MSP Trooper 7, and the patient was air transported to University of Maryland Capital Regional Medical Center Trauma in Largo, MD for further treatment and evaluation.
