| A long-standing event and a little slice of Americana, the Lighthouse Road 4th of July Parade has been a favorite for the families and friends of those who reside on Lighthouse Road. Second District VFD&RS brought Fire and EMS vehicles to ride in the parade on Saturday, July 4th. Residents line the street waving American flags dressed in their red, white and blue attire and hand out cookies, water, sausage sandwiches and candy as the parade moves by. Everyone is dressed in 4th of July finery and houses and yards are decorated with red, white and blue! A true piece of long ago Americana and Second District VFD&RS is proud to be involved. |
