Callaway Crash Sends Three to Hospitals

On Sunday, October 6, 2025, Company 6 responded to the area of Point Lookout Road and Lily Lane for the Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival, Chief 6B advised St. Mary's and incoming units that there would be entrapment on one of the vehicles. Squad 6 made quick work on the doors to gain access to one of the four patients. On Monday, August 25, members of the Second District Volunteer Fire Department & Rescue Squad (SDVFDRS) participated in a joint training evolution held at Webster Field Annex in St. Inigoes. The Naval District Washington Fire Department (NDWFD) hosted the drill, which brought together NDWFD, Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, Bay District Volunteer Fire Department (9), and SDVFDRS.
